  Although the lovely little holes below the Imago Theatre are still charmingly pristine, Half/Dozen will host their last exhibition tonight in Left/Right. They happen to be closing on a high note (or should I say frequency) exhibiting the fantastically fictoquizzical works of Carl Diehl.

  "In this exhibit, Carl Diehl draws from the rich history of UFO lore to develop speculative models of Drone Kitsch. At once a repository for technological anxiety, the darling of postwar science fiction and a stylistic mentor to the UAV, Diehl uses the UFO rhetorically as a means for imagining nostalgic objects from an estranged futurity."

  Guts, Ditch Project, June 2012

  Down in Springfield, the mysterious exhibition "Guts" proves alluring. Curated by Brad Atkins, the show features works by Jeffry Mitchell, Gretchen Bennett, Alex Felton, Matthew Green, Jack Ryan, Dana Dart-Mclean, Kazz Falcon, and Phillippe Blanc.

  Foco Gallery is a new popup art space run by a few PNCA young'uns with a lot of wherewithal and drive. So take that into consideration and take the wall text with a grain of salt, but give this exhibition Function/Impasse by Andre C. Filipek a solid chance. "Through deconstruction, reconstruction and material deployment, FUNCTION/IMPASSE questions the presuppositions and implications associated with materials, actions and complex objects."
