  I like Drawing

  'I like drawing' was a surprisingly popular part of the Santa's Ghetto show. I say surprisingly because maybe you don't expect someone who writes on rubbish bags to take a place by storm. Anyway, walking around Brick Lane I stumbled on this old fridge and noted the tag. OK, we may not be breaking new ground here but it does provide me with a reason to link to I like Drawings website which is kinda interesting.   The first run of Eelus's classic Shat-at print has apparently sold out (though if you go to his website you might still be able to get a unnumbered copy). It's been re-released with a fetching red background now.

  It's been nearly a month since my last post - So what's been up? Well apart from Christmas I've been trying to sort out a few problems with artofthestate and add some new features. 2006 should see the return of a forum to the site plus a top 10 current Banksy locations feature along with maybe some other artists too. I've been trying to learn a bit of PHP and SQL so this blog may end being moved onto artofthestate proper. We'll see!

  This was taken hand held by the way - the joy of image stabilisation lenses and being off the booze!

  The Partisans - Croydon Cartoon

  Older punkers reading this may remember the Partisans from the first time they were around. I never got to see them but from a recent appearance at the Cartoon in Croydon it seems that I missed out on a good thing.
